No. Actually, patch insulin pumps are less affected by body temperature since they are separated from the skin by the pump base. And the insulin reservoir is not in direct contact with the skin. This was proven in a clinical trial involving 76 diabetic patients who wore patch insulin pumps for 6 days and achieved positive clinical results.
According to your daily insulin consumption, Equil has a 200-unit insulin storage capacity, allowing you to wear it for 3 to 7 days. This reduces risk of insulin quality changes.
